Terms & Booking Policy

These Terms describe how a session works from inquiry to delivery, and what you and AlansCinematics ("Alan," "we") agree to when booking. By inquiring or booking a session, you agree to the terms below. They're written in plain language because they should be easy to read.

AlansCinematics is a photography brand operated by Alan Pirnazarov, based in Phoenix, Arizona.

1. Inquiries

Submitting the inquiry form does not confirm a booking. After you reach out, Alan will respond within 48 hours to discuss availability, location, and any details. A session is only considered booked once a date is confirmed and the booking fee (see below) has been received.

2. Booking Fee & Payment

To reserve your date, a non-refundable booking fee of 25–50% of your session total is required. The exact amount is confirmed at booking. This holds your spot on the calendar and is applied toward your session balance. The remaining balance is due on or before your session date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods will be shared at booking. Prices listed on the site are starting rates; final quotes are provided in your booking confirmation.

3. Rescheduling

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, reach out as early as possible:

More than 7 days before your session: One free reschedule. Your booking fee carries over to the new date.
Within 7 days of your session: One reschedule is permitted; an additional small rebooking fee may apply to cover schedule disruption.
Same-day reschedules: Treated as cancellations unless caused by weather or another circumstance outside your control.

Rescheduled sessions must be completed within 90 days of the original date.

4. Cancellations

The booking fee is non-refundable, as the reserved date is time we can no longer offer to another client. If Alan cancels for any reason on his end, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the booking fee, or the option to reschedule.

5. Weather & Outdoor Sessions

Arizona weather is mostly cooperative, but extreme heat, rain, or unsafe conditions may make outdoor shooting impractical. In those cases, we will reschedule to the next available date at no extra charge. Light weather (overcast skies, mild wind) typically makes for better photos, so we'll often shoot through it.

6. The Session

You agree to arrive on time and ready to shoot at the agreed location. Late arrivals reduce shooting time and do not extend the session. Alan will guide posing, movement, and direction throughout your shoot. You are responsible for the appearance, behavior, and safety of anyone you bring to the session, including any minors.

7. Photo Selection & Editing

Alan selects and edits the final gallery based on professional judgment — composition, light, expression, and overall feel. You are not entitled to receive unedited (RAW) files, outtakes, or images that did not make the final selection.

Edits include color grading, exposure, and cinematic finishing consistent with the AlansCinematics style. Heavy retouching (such as body reshaping or removing permanent features) is not included; minor blemish or distraction removal is included at Alan's discretion.

8. Delivery

Final galleries are delivered via a private online link within 7–10 days of your session. During busy seasons or for larger sessions, delivery may take slightly longer; you'll always be kept updated. Galleries remain available for 30 days after delivery — download and back up your images promptly. Re-delivery after expiration may be subject to an archive retrieval fee.

9. Image Usage

Your Rights

You receive a personal-use license to your delivered images. You may print, share, post on social media, and use the photos for personal purposes. Photo credit (@alanscinematics) is appreciated when posting online but not required.

Commercial Use

Commercial usage (advertising, paid promotion, brand endorsements, products for sale) is not included by default and requires a separate commercial license. Reach out if you have a commercial use case in mind.

Photographer's Rights

Alan retains the copyright to all images. Unless you request otherwise in writing, Alan may use images from your session in his portfolio, on this website, on Instagram (@alanscinematics), and in marketing materials. If you'd prefer your images stay private, let Alan know — written requests are honored.

You're free to edit, filter, crop, or otherwise modify the delivered images however you'd like for personal use. The only thing you may not do is claim authorship of the photos or present them as your own work.

10. Model Release

By booking a session, you grant Alan permission to use the photographs for portfolio and promotional purposes (see Section 9). If anyone in the session — including minors — should be excluded from public use, please notify Alan in writing before or after the shoot.

11. Liability

AlansCinematics is not liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including equipment malfunction, file corruption, natural disasters, illness, or other emergencies. In the unlikely event of total loss of images before delivery, Alan's liability is limited to a full refund of the amounts paid for the affected session. You agree to keep yourself, your party, and any property safe during the session; Alan is not responsible for personal injury or property damage during shoots.

12. Conduct

Alan reserves the right to end a session early without refund if anyone present behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise unacceptable. Mutual respect goes both ways.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. The terms in effect at the time of your booking apply to your session.
