I'm Alan, a self-taught cinematic photographer in Phoenix, Arizona, originally from Queens, New York. I started AlansCinematics because I wanted to create images that feel like something, not just document that a moment happened.

My style is cinematic, candid, and intentional. I'll guide you when needed and give direction for posed shots, but the experience never feels stiff or forced. The goal is to make the session feel effortless, so the photos still feel natural and true to you.

Yes. I'm always up for traveling within Arizona for the right session. For destinations outside the state, reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense.
Most galleries are delivered within 7–10 days of your session. During busy seasons it may be slightly longer, but I'll always keep you updated.
Each package has a guaranteed minimum. I focus on delivering images that are actually worth keeping — and I often exceed the minimum when the session calls for it. Every image in your gallery will be worth downloading.
Wear something that feels like you, just a little more elevated. Neutral tones, earthy colors, and simple textures tend to photograph beautifully. Most importantly, wear something you feel confident and comfortable in so the session feels natural.
Yes — I know Arizona well and have go-to spots for different vibes. If you have a location in mind, great. If not, I'll suggest a few based on your session type and the look you're going for.
That's my most common starting point. I don't expect you to know how to pose — that's my job. I'll guide you through movement, conversation, and direction until it feels natural. Most people loosen up within the first 15 minutes.
